Myron Lee “Mick” Berger

Mick Berger, 71, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2015. He was born January 21, 1944 in Alexandria, Virginia to Vera and John Berger.

Mick was an ornery but good man, he loved his family dearly. His passion was cars; from owning car dealerships to getting behind the wheel and racing stock cars.

He is survived by his children, John Berger, Alisha Taylor, Gayle Kuhns, Jackie Melbie, Tammy Berger, Cindy Barnhart-Cortes, and Sonny Berger; 18 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; sister, Connie Spaulding; brother, Eugene Davis, and many other loving friends and family members.

Mick was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Pam Berger.

A special thanks to all the doctors, nurses and staff at Fleur Heights Center for their wonderful care and compassion.

A memorial service will be held Saturday May 23, 2015 from Noon to 4 pm at AMVETS Post #2, 2818 5th Ave, Des Moines.
