Mary Alice Zenor Enos

Mary Alice Zenor Enos was born February 3, 1928 in Des Moines, Iowa to Jake and Esther (Walker) Zenor. She was employed by the Des Moines Register for 36 years in the circulation department as a motor route driver. She passed away very peacefully at home on May 7, 2015.

She joins in heaven her husband of 49 years, Wesley E. Enos, Sr., daughters, Mary Alice Carpenter Marshall and Shirley Ann Gerk, sons-in-law, Don Carpenter and Tim Gerk, parents, Jake and Esther, and her nine siblings who precede her in death.

With great heartache, she had to leave behind her daughter, Lesley May Enos of Des Moines, IA, son, Wesley E. (Sandy) Enos, Jr. of Altoona, IA, seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and sisters, Nancy Jones of Gray, IA and Vicki Merrill of Indianola, IA.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
