Karen Hornberg

Karen Hornberg, 56 of Ankeny passed away Thursday, October 04, 2007 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. Karen was born June 15th 1951 in Bethany, Missouri to Max and Betty Stephens. Karen graduated from Des Moines North High School in 1969. Karen retired from Ankeny Animal Heath Clinic as a Veterinary Assistant in 2003.
Karen is survived by her loving husband Rick; sons, Scott and Ryan Hornberg; her parents; sister, Sandy (Bob) Timmons all of Ankeny; 2 nieces; 1 nephew; 3 grand nieces and 3 grand nephews.
Funeral services will be 10:30 Saturday, October 6, 2007 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church 517 SW Des Moines Street, Ankeny with burial following at Oralabor Cemetery in Ankeny, IA. Family will greet friends one hour prior to service time on Saturday.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Hospice of Johnston.
