Brian George, 51, was born December 4, 1963 and passed away Sunday, May 3, 2015.

Brian spent his entire career dedicated to the trucking industry, and was an owner of a trucking company as well as an owner of a truck sales and repair shop. He always looked forward to spending his weekends at the racetrack and cherished his ATV trips to the mountains. Brian was a loyal Bondurant Bluejays supporter as well as the community of Bondurant. He loved watching his sons participate in their sporting events and activities, and above all else, treasured the special time spent with his family and friends. Brian served proudly on the Board of Directors for the IMTA.

Brian is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Kathryn George; sons, Jacob (Katie), Benjamin, Nicholas and Allen George; grandson, Carson George; parents, Patrick and Patricia George; siblings, Lynn (Kirk) Walters, Pat George, Jr. (Karen) and Tim (Mary Beth) George; numerous nieces and nephews; other loving relatives and many special friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Susan George and his wife’s mother, Lenarda Andersen.

The family will greet friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Ss. John and Paul Catholic Church, 1401 1st Ave S with a wake service to begin at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 8, 2015 at with burial to follow at Altoona Cemetery. Contributions may be directed to the family to establish numerous memorials in loving memory of Brian.
