Michael Barach, 67, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Michael was born February 23, 1948 in Centerville, Iowa to Mike Barach, Jr. and Fayetta Bills Barach. He was a very talented hairstylist and loved his profession. Michael was a very generous son, brother and uncle and will be greatly missed by his family. He is survived by his brother John (Deborah) Barach, brother Bruce (Mikan) Barach, sister Marla (Mateo) Del Carmen, five nieces, one nephew and many other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his brothers Forrest and Richard, sister Patricia and his parents.
According to his wishes, private services were held at Hamilton’s Funeral Home and a private family burial will take place at Laurel Hill Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Condolences may be expressed at www.HamiltonsFuneralHome.com.

Michael was a great friend and we had a lot of fun at the parties at Sheryljan's house and at the ValAir and the year's have passed so fast wish we would of stayed in touch. Rest in peace Michael !!! You will be missed.

Michael was thee best friend. When we were in high school we all were inseparable. Dancing was our life together.God Bless him.He is at peace.

Michael was a very special person! We were great friends in high school and I loved him dearly and still do even though I hadn't seen him in years. Oh the fun we all had dancing and partying in Sheryljan's basement and at all the school dances! Seems like it was just yesterday. Wish we had stayed in touch...Rest in peace Michael you will be missed greatly!!

Michael was my best friend for many many years. We loved to dance and party. I am returning from Arizona
Monday and had planned on seeing him with John Seddon. Michael and I have lots and lots of memories. He ate dinner everynight at our house for many years when we were young. So sorry I did not get to see him. He was such a good friend. He will be missed, but he is no longer suffering. He is with our Lord and Savior.
