Francis Coulthard

Francis L. Coulthard, 81, passed away Monday, October 1, 2007 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, October 5, 2007 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Francis was born March 28, 1926 to Cecil and Dessie Coulthard in Gravity, Iowa. He graduated from Corning High School and then went on to serve in the Navy during WWII. Francis retired from Armstrong-Pirelli after 32 years of service. After his retirement, he enjoyed camping and traveling with his wife.
Francis is survived by his beloved wife, Wilma; children, Gail (Gary) Denning, Carole Stevenson, and Francis (Gail) Coulthard; sister, Paige Stevens; brothers, Bernard and Vernon Coulthard; sister-in-law, Verla Coulthard; eight grandchildren, Gary Denning, Jr., Michael Denning, Dawn Stapes, Gail Boehler, Kristin Silver, Jennifer Martinez, Kelly Michael and Lana Coulthard; and many great and great great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Alvin.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Hospice in Johnston.
