Service Details
Sandra Stepp, 67, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2015. She was born March 3, 1948 in Des Moines, Iowa. Sandra had a golden heart and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her pride and joy in life were her grandkids.
She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Vernon; daughters, Darcie (Fredrick) Ruchti, and Julie Slater; grandchildren, Alec Slater, Caleb Slater and Autumn Slater; and sister, Sherry Briggs.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Ellen and Louis Huxford.
Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, April 13, 2015 at Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter.

I am sending my prayers go out to the entire family. Such great memories I have of Sandy. She was always so sweet and kind! I always looked forward to seeing her at ILH when I went to the Cafeteria. God Bless you all.

I will always remeber the laughs Sandra gave me in Las Vegas for Darcie and Freddie 's Wedding . The times she would call Darcie just to let her know who the baby daddy was on Maury. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
