Service Details
Hellen Lorean Walden, 94, passed away on April 7, 2015 in the comfort of her own home. She was born on October 3, 1920, to Ernest and Nancy Head.
She is survived by her daughters, Karen (Fred) Jacobsen and Beckie Walden; grandchildren, Lauren Meador, Tony (Christine) and Brian (Lisa) Jacobsen; 3 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Burl.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 10, 2015 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave, Des Moines with visitation one hour prior to services.
Memorials may be directed to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa or to the American Heart Association.
