Frank Charles "Chucky" Lewis, Jr.

Frank “Chucky” Lewis, Jr., 61, died Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Chucky was born September 18, 1953 in Pasadena, California to Frank and Shirley (Corbin) Lewis, Sr. He enjoyed traveling with his parents and loved nature and the outdoors. Chucky was a people person and loved spending time with his family and friends. He looked forward to the big family get-togethers. Chucky took pleasure in the simple things in life and enjoyed just relaxing in his rocking chair.

He is survived by his mother, Shirley Lewis; his brothers, Don Lewis and wife Lisa, Greg Lewis and wife Shelly, and Mark Lewis and wife Gina; and his nieces and nephews, Kyle Lynch, Sara Lewis, Michael Carpenter, Jeremy Lewis, Amber Lewis, Christian Lewis, Morgan Lewis and Cheyenne Lewis.

Chucky is preceded in death by his father, Frank Charles Lewis Sr. and nephew Tracy Carpenter.

A memorial service will be planned for a later date.
