Ralph Batson

Ralph Batson, 80, passed away Monday, October 1, 2007, at Polk City Manor in Polk City. Ralph was born December 11, 1926 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to Tennie Shawn and Clayton Batson. Ralph was a floor covering contractor for 45 years. He was a veteran of the Army Air Corps during World War II. Ralph belonged to the Southgate Masonic Lodge and The LDS Church in Ankeny.
He is survived by his loving wife, Freeda Batson; daughter, Gwyneth Ayres; sons, Ron and Keith Batson; sister, Wanda Wester; eight grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son, Rob Batson.
Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 6, 2007 at the Elkhart Christian Church (DOC) in Elkhart, Iowa, 124 South Washington Ave.
