Samwel Ntahobirondererwa

Samwel Ntahobirondererwa, 27 years old, died Sunday, April 5, 2015.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 11, 2015 at First Church of the Nazarene, 4703 Douglas Avenue, Des Moines. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m., also at the church, with burial to follow at Glendale Cemetery.

Samwel was born January 1, 1988 in DR Congo in the city of Atungulu. He was a very nice young man who was very social and well loved. He fled to Tanzania with his parents due to the war in DR Congo where he took refuge for the next 11 years. He resided in Muyovozi Camp and then moved to Nyarugusu Camp for schooling. He went to school through 11th grade before coming to America. He immigrated to the United States on September 29, 2007. Samuel started taking English as a 2nd Language classes at DMACC and worked at Tyson Meat Company. He then went back to take ESL to further improve his English. He moved to Rock Island where he welcomed his precious daughter with Berita Ntakirutimana. He then decided to come live with his parents in Des Moines while he was working at the Post Office. Samwel was last seen on April 4, 2015.

He is survived by his father, Elias Baribwa and mother, Sarfina Sinzotuma; mother of his child, Berita; daughter, Kayla Ntahobirondererwa; and his siblings, Barengayabo Beatrice (Antoine Maguru), Bahati Daphrose (Ndayi Eric), Toyi Athanase (Bucumi Elizabeth), Ciza Jonas (Makayla O’Brian), Nkwirikiye Apendiki (Ali Omari), Swedi Maronde, Nibitanga Eveline and Enes Maombi.
