Kathy M. (Ahrndt) Bergeson

Kathy M. (Ahrndt) Bergeson, 66, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2015 at Mercy Hospital. She was born November 21, 1948 to Martin and Serena Ahrndt in Clinton, Iowa.

Kathy was a member of Ss John & Paul Catholic Church and enjoyed reading along with spending time with her family.

Kathy is survived by her daughters, Angela (Matthew) Blair, Karina (Cody) Stafford, and Christina Dietsch (Jacob Hines); grandchildren, Michael, Erika, Thomas, Hunter, Ella, and one on the way; brother, Kenneth Ahrndt; and a host of other family and beloved friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis; parents; sister, Karol; and daughter, Regina.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th Street SW. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Ss. John & Paul Catholic Church, 1401 1st Ave. S., with burial to follow at Altoona Cemetery.
