Kevin E. Mowrer

Kevin Eugene Mowrer, 45, died Friday, April 3, 2015, of heart failure, at his home.

Kevin was born on September 2, 1969, the son of Leslie and Carol “Jeanie” Mowrer. He worked at Speck U.S.A. of Des Moines.

Kevin is survived by his son, Jacob Glenn Mowrer; his parents; sister, Janene (Jason) Grimes; fiance, Heather Griebe; former wife, Julie, and her sons, Michael and Alex;
nieces and nephews, Christine (Jeremy) Sweet, Michael (Angie) Grimes and Allison, Olivia, Clinton and Gemma; sisters-in-law, Ashley (Kevin) Leonard and Coral Tabor; brother-in-law, Matt Tabor; best friend, David Ramsell, and his children, Logan and Payden; and special friend, Ileen Sickels, and her daughter, Zoey.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street followed by burial at Norwalk Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
