Service Details
Glenna O’Neal passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines with her loving family beside her. Glenna was born on April 13, 1936 in Monday, West Virginia to Lindsay and Mildred Jones.
Glenna enjoyed playing BINGO, going to Prairie Meadows, camping and fishing. Family and friends called her “Doc Jones”.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Phillip “Pete”; her daughter, Lori Lynn Phipps; grandchildren, Amanda, Josh, Preston and Phillip; eight great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, and a host of loving family and special friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lindsay Jones and Mildred Jones-Lane and her daughter, Kimberley Lamb.
Memorial services will be held at 12 p.m. noon on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.

Sorry to hear of the lost of your wife,Pete and your mother, Lori.
Glenna was a great friend to me and would help anyone out in time of need. She will be deeply missed. I always had fun with Glenna when I lived in Des Moines.Prayers to all of the family. God Bless you all.

I'm so sorry Uncle Pete and Lori Linn. Aunt Glenna was such a wonderful aunt. I will deeply miss her. She has joined Grandma,Aunt Ada, Uncle Jack , Kim , Dad and Grandpap Jones in Heaven. WITH MY DEEPEST SYMPATHIES. SISSY
