Darold D. Fry

Darold D. Fry, 71, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines. He was born September 1, 1943 in Iowa Center, Iowa to Alfred and Mary (Ewing) Fry. He was a loving son and brother and a good friend to many. Darold was an Army Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. He loved life! He enjoyed writing, fishing and bowling.

Darold is survived by his brothers, Gary (Barb) and Clyde (Patricia); sister, Marlene; and nieces, nephews and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Howard.

According to Darold’s wishes, cremation has occurred. A private celebration of his life is pending. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to UnityPoint Taylor House Hospice.
