Doris Lorraine Dennis, 88, was born August 23, 1926 in Des Moines, the daughter of Roy and Dorotha (Gooch) DeYoung. She passed away peacefully Monday, March 30, 2014 at Parkridge Nursing and Rehab.
Doris is survived by her sons, Steven (his wife, Patricia) Dennis and Dennis DeYoung; sister, Wilma Hildebrand; one grandchild, one step-grandchild and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Eugene Dennis, one sister and her parents.

I am so sorry for your loss. I loved your Mom, Dorrie. She was so good to my Mom. She brought her ice creme when she was to sick to eat. I used to visit her at least once a month these past couple of years. She told me "getting old is hell" She will be missed. I loved her fun ways, she always made me laugh. She loved her two boys very much.
