Florence Bledsoe

Florence Ida Bledsoe, 91, died Friday, September 28, 2007 at the Winterset Care Center following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s. Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street with burial in Masonic Cemetery. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.
Florence was preceded in death by her husbands, Andrew I. Jackson and Eugene Bledsoe; four grandsons; a great-granddaughter and great-grandson; her mother, Nellie Stites; brother, Edward Pepper and sister, Louise M. Turney.
Florence is survived by her children, Dorothy Vance of Des Moines, Andrew (Lucy) Jackson of Goshen, IN, Eleanor Hogan of Waterville, MN, Arline (Larry) Evans of Cape Coral Fla., Darlene Price of Earlham, Ia., and Eunice (Larry) Beener of Albert Lea, MN.; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one brother, Robert Pepper of Des Moines.
