LoAnn Miller, 83, was born October 26, 1931 in Des Moines, Iowa to Kenneth and Juanita (Snodgrass) Brown. She passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2015 surrounded by the love of her family.

Visitation will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Monday, March 23, 2015 at Evangelical Covenant Church, 2625 Hubbell Ave. Funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 24, also at the church. Burial of cremated remains will take place at Iowa Veterans Cemetery at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 25.

LoAnn had an eye for detail. She kept an immaculate home and was passionate about decorating. This served her well in her position with Ethan Allen for 25 years. Her home was her showcase, especially at Christmas time. She loved flowers and enjoyed spending time gardening. She had a very strong faith and was active in many church activities, especially enjoying time spent with friends in Bible study. Above all of her other interests, time spent with family was most precious.

LoAnn is survived by her husband of 65 years, Gene; sons, Mike (Gina) and Steve (Inara); grandsons, Geoff, Tyler, Dustin and Raleigh Miller; great-grandchildren, John and Kaitlin; sister, Linda (Max) Norton; niece, Connie (Leo) Herrick; aunt, Shirley Miller; and many other loving relatives and special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Evangelical Covenant Church.
