Beverly Rourke-Evans, 62, passed away on March 16, 2015, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. She was born January 11, 1953, in Wurzburg, Germany, to Ralph and Shirley Godsil.

Beverly graduated from Saydel High School in 1971 and was crowned homecoming queen her senior year. She worked at Zee Medical and Wall Street Restaurant prior to owning her own business, Seal Maxx, for more than 10 years. She enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending time with her family.

Beverly is survived by her husband, Greg Rourke; children, Stephanie Evans and Jason Evans; grandchildren, Patience, Ryder, Drake, and Olivia; her mother, Shirley; sister, Marcy (Charles) Hintz; former spouse, Doug Evans; a host of nieces and nephews, and countless friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph; brother, Ralph Godsil Jr.; and her sister, Susan Malaney.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2015, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines, with visitation beginning one hour prior to service time.
