Ronald Lee Mongar

Ronald Lee Mongar, 64, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2015 at his home in Carlisle.
Ronald was born March 11, 1951 in Des Moines, Iowa to Darwin and Betty (Little) Mongar. He was a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War and worked as a salesman for All American Scaffold.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Kathy, daughter, Tammy and son, Gary (Tania), all of Carlisle, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Bill (Randi) of Norwalk, Becky LaRue, Mandy (Mary), Tom (Sandy), Linda Davis (Joe) and John (Monica), all of Des Moines, and numerous nieces and nephews. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Donnie and Steve and brother-in-law, Jon LaRue.
A memorial visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Friday, March 20, 2015 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Burial of cremated remains will take place at a later date.

Ron was a great friend. I really enjoyed working with Ron for nearly 8 years at Iowa scaffold co. I pray God comfort's the family threw this time of Loss.
