Gerald Wayne Jeffries, 73, passed away Friday, March 13, 2015, at his home with family, under the care of Hospice of Central Iowa. According to his wishes, there will be no services held at this time.
Gerald was born September 9, 1941 in Des Moines, Iowa to his mother, Mary Brewer. He was a good father and loved his grandchildren. Gerald will be remembered as a man of few words, but when he spoke, he said what he meant. He was a quiet man, but upfront and honest.
He is survived by his children, Lisa (Jay) Knapp, Mike Jeffries, Sean (Jackie) Jeffries, Mary Barlow, Deanna Cruz, Chuck Jeffries and Johnny Jeffries; grandchildren, Jesi, Nikita, Joseph, Nikoli, Brandy, McKaylin, Natalee, Nathen, Kurtiss, Nolen and Leland; great-grandchildren, Landon, Stella, Callaway and Zayden; and his sister, Janis Wiand.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family.

Strange as it may seem I feel as though a piece of myself & my past has gone missing, May GOD take mercy on his soul, & send many blessings to you all.
