Robert “Bob” Evans, 61, passed away Friday, March 13, 2015 at Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. Bob was born July 17, 1953 in Des Moines, Iowa to Charles and Clara (Hanson) Evans.
He is survived by his wife, Roberta “Bert” Evans; son, Mathew Evans; daughter, Crystal (Billy III) Foote; grandchildren, Novella and Karl Foote; and his siblings, Richard Kellogg, Stormie Wright, Ronald Kellogg and Rainnie Ogg.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Dawn Kellogg.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Pkwy, West Des Moines. Funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. Friday, March 20, also at the funeral home, followed by burial at Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter, Iowa at 2:00 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family to help with funeral expenses.

Richard and Kim, My deepest sympathies to you and the rest of the family at the loss of your beloved brother, etc. The loss of a sibling is always difficult and the unexpectedness is such a shock that it is often hard to get a handle on.
