Barbara Ann McDonald, 74, of Denver, CO peacefully passed away on March 11, 2015 at Kavanagh House in Des Moines, IA surrounded by her family. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Barbara was born on September 6, 1940 in Marshalltown, IA to Mabel (Belt) and William Coy. She graduated from Marshalltown High School, and in 1979 moved to Denver, CO for her career. She worked in the tech industry for Exabyte. Barbara enjoyed her work, her dogs, gardening, and spending time with her family.
Those left to honor her memory are, her daughters, Debora (May) Probst, Valerie (Michael) Griffin, and Laura (May) Sample; seven grandchildren; two great-grandsons; and her brother, Richard (Cam) Coy. Barbara was preceded in death by her father, William Coy; her mother, Mabel Holten; and brother, Ronald Coy.
