Elizabeth A. Bolton

Elizabeth A. Bolton, 79, passed away March 10, 2015, at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. She was born April 21, 1935, in Altoona, Iowa to Charles and Lenore Bailie.

Elizabeth was an administrative assistant for the Iowa Department of Transportation for many years. She was an active member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Ankeny for 37 years and she enjoyed quilting and making doll clothes.

Elizabeth is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Richard, and her son, Kevin Bolton. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Lois Curry.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2015, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 517 SW Des Moines Street in Ankeny, with burial to follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in loving memory of Elizabeth.
