Gary Albee

Gary Allbee, 56, died Thursday, September 27, 2007 at his home surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday September 29, 2007 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. Visitation will be held 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
Gary was born November 30, 1950 to Charles and Ruth Allbee in Des Moines. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp. during the Vietnam War and worked as a laborer for Local Union #177.
Gary is survived by his wife, Melody; daughter, Jaime (Hank) Gertsen; sons, Gary Allbee Jr., Kelley (Monica) Allbee, and Robert Malone; eight grandchildren; sister, Pam Conn; brothers, Donald (Bev), Gene, Larry, Bill, and Richard Allbee; and a host of other family and beloved friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; and one sister.
