Dwight David Hayner, 53, of Des Moines, Iowa, passed away surround by family on the morning of March 7, 2015 after a long illness. He will be cremated and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

He is survived by his wife, Sue, of 30 years; three children, Christopher Riggs (Heather), Dwight Riggs (Elizabeth) and Amanda Hayner (Willie); and step-son, Lewis Miller (Briana), all of the Des Moines area. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Emily, Hunter, Avah, Isabella, Dominick, RaeShawn, Earl Jr. and Reeyse and many brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

Dwight was born February 16, 1962 in Des Moines, Iowa to Irene and Clarence Hayner. He married Susan Miller on December 3, 1985 in Des Moines, Iowa. They lived here the remainder of his life. He enjoyed gambling at Prairie Meadows, playing cards, and spending time with family and friends. Most of all, he loved kicking back, relaxing, and being a jokester. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
