Geraldine Kelaher

The Angels called Gerry home on Wednesday, September 26. She was born Geraldine Marie Jordan on August 13, 1920 to Gerald and Edna May Jordan.
Gerry was raised in Des Moines and was a graduate of East High School. She worked and retired from the State of Iowa in Federal Unemployment Claims. Aside from her family, Gerry enjoyed gardening, party planning, baking and people.
Gerry married and is survived by her four children and their spouses, Barbara and Jack Murillo of West Des Moines, Timothy and Sandy Kelaher, Michael and Carol Kehaler both of Des Moines, and Cheri Kehaler of Cedar Falls; 11 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Kelaher and a grandson, David Nimmo.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, September 29, 2007 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens 121 NW 60th Ave, Des Moines. Family will greet friends from 12 noon until service time on Saturday.
