Betty Maxine Lind

Betty M. Lind, 86 passed away Friday, February 13, 2015 in West Des Moines. She has selflessly gifted her body to Des Moines University. A visitation will be held at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street on Monday, February, 16, 2015 from 1:00-3:00 pm.

Betty was born August 10,1928 in Des Moines to Charles and Eva Fisher, and was a lifelong resident of Des Moines. She enjoyed old western movies and TV shows and antiques. She owned and operated an antique shop in Valley Junction for many years.

She is survived by daughters Debbie (John) Gudehus of Urbandale; and Marsha Lind, of Des Moines; grandchildren Dawn (Kenn) Moon of Overland Park, KS; Melissa (Tony) Frantzen of Des Moines; and Matt Gudehus (fiancé Morgan) of Denver, CO. Betty is also survived by great grandchildren Sadie and Eli Frantzen, and Ava, Simon and Jack Moon.
