Thaddeus Hupp

Thaddeus Hupp, age 32, passed away on February 12, 2015. He was born Janurary 13, 1983 in Cedar Rapids Iowa to Jeannie (Rhomberg) and Ken Hupp.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at 5:00 pm at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines Iowa. Visitation will occur for two hours prior to the service.

Thaddeus was proud to serve his country, serving in the Navy from 2001 until the present. He completed two world tours and one year in Dubai. Thaddeus graduated from Northern Illinois University. Thaddeus touched countless lives with his genuine smile, quick wit and unforgettable laugh. In proud service to his country, to his work at Athene, his pure love for his family and friends, and his passions for animals, rugby and all things outdoors. He always made an endearing impression.

Thaddeus is survived by his mother, Jeannie; father Ken (Peggy); brothers, Julian (Crystal) and Gideon; grandmother, Eileen Hupp; girlfriend, Jessica Lubic; his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, William Hupp and Barbara and Joseph Rhomberg.
