Judy Amodeo, 72, went to be with her loving husband for Valentine’s Day on February 11, 2015.

Judy was born April 30, 1942 in Bode, Iowa. She was a woman with an abundant capacity to love, forgive and embrace all who came into her life.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Nona (Frankie) Atiles, Louie Amodeo and Joey (Rachael) Amodeo; brother, Glen (Donna) Adreon; mother, Ivabell Adreon; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Glen; brothers, Ron and James; son, Merle; and her loving husband of 49 years, Lou “LJ” Amodeo.

Visitation will be held Sunday, February 15, 2015 from 4 to 7 p.m. with the Rosary recited at 6:30 p.m. at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 16, 2015 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 15 Indianola Avenue followed by burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

To the angelic staff that showed such compassion and care for our mother at Mercy ICU, Mercy ER and Select Speciality Hospitals, we would like to express our unending gratitude.
