Bruce Mustard, 60, passed away at his home Wednesday, February 11, 2015.
Bruce was born April 6, 1954 in Gruver, Iowa and graduated from Lincoln Central High School in Gruver. He grew up in the grocery business and worked at several throughout his life, most recently at HyVee. Bruce married Teresa Johnson on July 20, 1973. He loved spending time with his grandkids and was an avid Green Bay Packers Fan.
Bruce is survived by his wife and best friend, Teresa; children, Brian (Candie) Mustard, Michelle Folsom and Dan (Rochelle) Mustard; grandchildren, Sierra, Brianna, Shelbie, Ashlyn, Brian Jr., Andrew, Victoria, Nathan, Will and Addison; father, Don Mustard, Sr.; siblings, Katie (Larry), Don Jr. (Lisa) and Kevin; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys; his grandparents; and numerous aunts and uncles.
A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Bright Kavanagh House, 3000 Easton Blvd in Des Moines.

I didn't really know Bruce very well however, I know Don Jr. and Kevin quite well and I'm very sorry to hear the loss of your brother. You always seem to be a very close family and at this time I hope it helps you find comfort in your wonderful family. God bless you all.

I went to school and graduated with Bruce from Lincoln Central High School haven't seen him much since graduation ,but I think about my classmates often. My sincerest sympathy goes to his family. He was a fun and good person!

I haven't been in touch with Bruce for such a long time so I was grateful that Katie called me to say that he had passed away. I remember that when I would stay with Katie when we were younger Bruce was such a tease! He always had that great smile too. I am so sad for all Bruce's loved ones left behind. Please accept my sincere sympathy. May the Lord right now bless and forever comfort all of you as you grieve for your loss and may you recall lots of wonderful memories of days gone by.
