Beverly Duberstein

Beverly Duberstein, 70, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2015 at her home in Des Moines, IA.

She is survived by her four daughters, Stephanie (Jason) Crow; Susan Duberstein; Stacie (Damian) Wolske and Sarah Beth Duberstein; sister, Marcie (Brad) Danches; uncle, George Bertrand; and her five grandchildren, Sadie, Jackson, and Thatcher Crow; Morgan and Alexandra Wolske.

Beverly was born August 9, 1944 in Houston, Texas, the daughter of Donald and Freddie Dye. Beverly was a beloved mother and grandmother. She was also a dedicated teacher for 3 decades serving the Des Moines Public School District. Beverly was generous, compassionate, and a true friend to all who knew her. Beverly will always be remembered for her deep love and devotion to her daughters, grandchildren, and close friends. We are forever grateful to have known such a beautiful person.

Memorial services will be at 2:30 pm, Friday, February 13, 2015 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street in Des Moines with a visitation for one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions can be made online to the Youth Emergency Services and Shelter in lieu of flowers: www.yessiowa.org
