Service Details
Edith Beckwith, 101, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 5, 2015. Edith was born on September 26, 1913 in Waterloo, Iowa to Lenwilla (Winterode) and William Bussler.
She graduated from East High School and worked for Rath packing Co. She met and married Henry H. Beckwith on December 3, 1938. Together they had a daughter, Jean and sons, David and Daniel. She was a member of Park Avenue Christian Church.
Edith is survived by her daughter, Jean; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband and two sons.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 9, 2015 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. Visitation will occur one hour prior to the service. There will be a private inurnment at Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery in Waterloo, Iowa.
Memorial contributions may be directed to a charity of your choice or Park Ave. Christian Church.

Jean,
Sorry to learn of the death of your mother. At 101, she would seemed to have lived a full life. Condolences from both Lois and me.
