Dora Stanley

Dora E. Stanley, 79, passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at USA Healthcare Urbandale. Funeral services will be at 9am Saturday, November 25 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home with burial to follow at 12pm at the Indianapolis Cemetery near What Cheer, Iowa.
Dora was born January 7, 1927, the daughter of Alvin and Grace (Garrett) Wright. She loved to bake, and enjoyed talking and sharing stories with her loved ones.
Dora is survived by her daughter, Nancy (Larry) Hutchins of Arizona; son, Michael Stanley of Polk City; grandchildren, Heather McKinney of Des Moines and Adam Hutchins of Reno, Nevada; sisters, Phyllis (Roger) De Young of Knoxville, Betty (Leo) Hejda of Urbandale, and Laura Mae Hoover of Aurora, Colorado; and brother, Dale (Doris) Wright of Webster. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Glen; her daughter, Linda Lou Stanley, and her parents.
The family will greet friends from 5-7pm Friday, November 24 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home.
