Vera "Kathy" Katherine Beveridge

Kathy was born April 28, 1950 in Des Moines to Robert and Vera Lloyd. She was employed at Wimpy’s Steakhouse and a retired homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting and listening to music. She passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at the age of 64.

Kathy is survived by her children, Kathy Beveridge, Ted Beveridge Jr., and Pam Jordan; ten grandchildren, Amanda, James, Ted III, Breanna, Billy, Mariah, Dylan, Gage, Chase, and Kole; great-granddaughter, Candice; siblings, Ed Johnston and Julie Freeman; four nieces and nephews; and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bobby Lloyd; and the father of her children, Ted Beveridge Sr.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 5, 2015 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 6, also at Hamilton’s, with burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
