Betty J. (Hague) King

Betty J. (Hague) King, 86, passed away February 1, 2015 at the Carlisle Care Center in Carlisle, Iowa. She was born July 10, 1928 in Des Moines to Clifford & Josephine (Owens) Thompson.

Betty enjoyed gardening, flowers and bird watching; but most of all loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her brother, Ted Thompson; children, Susan (Bill) Owen, Marilyn (Michael) Powers, Laura Woods, Raymond (Laura) Hague; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, John Hague, second husband, Voris King and sister, Virginia Routson.
