Tommy R. Lander, Sr., 60, passed away Friday, January 16, 2015 at his home in Berwick.
Tommy was born June 24, 1954 in Ottumwa, Iowa to Harold and Bonnie (Bowman) Lander. He graduated from Saydel High School and worked for the Polk County Secondary Roads Department for 36 years.
Tommy is survived by his sons, Chad (Dawn) Lander and Tommy Lander, Jr.; step-son, Corey (Tammy) Gould; brother, Rick Lander; sister, Sheila Weber; and several grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Susan Kay Lander; and his sister, Vickie Lander.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Berwick Congregational Church, 5673 NE Berwick Dr., Berwick, Iowa.

Tom was a part of our family since I was little. He was like another big brother to me growing up. Big heart and cared so much for so many and was always joking and making you laugh. He will be greatly missed and I am very thankful for having him in my life.
