Russell Lautenbach

Russell L. Lautenbach, 59, passed away Monday, January 12, 2015 at Taylor House.
Russ was born April 16, 1955 in Des Moines to Robert “Bud” and Patricia Ann (Potter) Lautenbach. He graduated from Valley High School where he was on the diving team. Russ loved sports and playing games. He especially enjoyed playing tennis, golf and Wii. Russ was a master at trivia and had a great sense of humor. He worked in food service at DMGH and Mercy Medical Center.
Russ is survived by his wife of 15 years, Dannette; father, Robert “Bud” (Jayne) Lautenbach; step-sisters, Laura (Dave) Mackaman, Cynthia Fox and Patricia (Kenneth) Lehmer; mother-in-law “mom”, Sharon Farrar; brother-in-law, Robert (Stephanie) Farrar; his four legged friends, Barney and Jesse; and a host of extended family and friends.
He joins his mother Patricia and brother Jim in heaven.
Visitation will be held Saturday, January 17, 2015 from 1 to 3 p.m. with a memorial service at 3 p.m. at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street.
