Patricia Clair Knowles

Patricia C. Knowles, formerly of Des Moines and Adrian, Michigan, passed away January 8, 2015, at Altoona Nursing and Rehabilitation at the age of 88. She was born September 1, 1926, in Adrian, Michigan, the daughter of Harold and Vera Bosenbark.

Patricia retired from General Telephone in Michigan after 35 years of service. After retirement, she moved to Des Moines where she made many new friends at the Mercy Wellness Center.

Patricia was an avid baker and candy maker. She loved needlework, crocheting and cross-stitch, as well as ceramics and doll making.

Patricia is survived by her son, Keith (Nancy) Knowles; niece, Ann Bosenbark; and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Richard Bosenbark; sister-in-law, Marge Bosenbark; former husband, Francis Knowles, and her loving pets.

Memorial services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2015, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines, with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m.
