Jane McCall

Jane McCall, 72, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center with her loving family beside her.

Jane was born May 2, 1942 to Janet (Hayward) and James Fox in Centerville, Iowa.
Jane married Robert Raymond McCall on May 20, 1961. She loves frogs, sewing and quilting. She loved baking and decorating cakes. For many years Jane was the leader of the Missionettes at Glad Tidings. At Faith Independent Assembly of God, she put her heart and soul into the children’s programs which included the vacation bible school and children’s camp. She served as a missionary in China for a month.

Jane is survived by her husband, Robert R. McCall; children, Robert A. (Tammy), Anita Carver, Matthew (Rhonda) and Mary (Chalet) Nichols; twenty--one grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Joan (Ron) Myers; and numerous other family and beloved friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Curtis Fox.

Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. noon at Faith Independent Assembly of God Church, 6001 SW 14th Street. The family will greet friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the church. Jane will be laid to rest at Elm Grove Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Southside Senior Center in memory of Jane.
