Max Allen

Max G. Allen, 89, of Highland Park died on Sunday, September 16, 2007 at Iowa Health Hospice Taylor House. Max was born January 1, 1918 to Elton and Ina Allen in Conesville, Iowa.
Max lived in Clearwater, Florida from 1959 – 1972, during which time he built mobile home parks and worked for Honeywell Aerospace as an electronic technician. From 1942 – 1946 Max served with the Army Engineers until his honorable discharge.
Max is survived by his wife, Helen C. Allen; his daughter, Vicki (Pete) Boysen of Ames and one granddaughter, Kristina Boysen. He was preceded in death by two brothers.
A Memorial Service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 19, 2007 at Highland Park Presbyterian Church, 321 Euclid Avenue.
Memorial contributions may be given to Taylor Hospice House.
