Odessa Fern Felton

Odessa Fern Felton, 86, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at Taylor House Hospice. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. with burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Odessa was born June 27, 1920 in Enterprise, Iowa. She graduated from Attica High School. Odessa retired in 1982 from Meredith Publishing where she had worked in the subscription department for over 26 years.
Odessa is survived by her daughter, Peggy Ann Jensen of Fountain Valley, CA; sons, Foster W. Felton of Pershing, IA and Richard Felton of Payette, ID; sister, Elizabeth Hauenstein of Bussey, IA; brothers, Don Current and Norman Current both of Des Moines; 11 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence “Wes” Wesley Felton.
Memorial contributions may be made to Grandview Park Baptist Church or Taylor House Hopice.
