Service Details
Jack Dennis, 68, passed away Monday, December 8, 2014. He was born December 12, 1945 in Des Moines, Iowa. Jack loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed playing pool on various leagues and was an avid card player.
Jack is survived by his daughter, Michelle (David) Voshell; son, Jack Dennis Jr.; grandchildren, Mercede and Cory Voshell, Casey Elizabeth, Braxton and Jackson Dennis; brother, Floyd Gilbert Jr.; and niece, Traci Rogers. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth and Floyd Gilbert Sr.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines with burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Crime Victims Assistance Division, State of Iowa, 321 E 12th St., Ste. 268, Des Moines, IA, 50319.
