Nancy Sue Walker

Nancy Sue Walker, 68, passed away Friday, December 5, 2014.

Nancy was born October 12, 1946 in Creston, Iowa. Everyone that knew her loved her. She was a mom to all. Everyone called her Mom or Grandma. She enjoyed crafts and painting. Nancy like fishing and camping, especially at Green Valley. She liked watching her soaps and had an ornery streak, but she would give you the shirt off of her back. Nancy adored her grandkids and always had sweet tea ready when people came to visit. She was a great cook known for her lasagna and her pies. She liked spending time with her puppies, Molly and Bandit and playing cards.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Rick Walker; children, Donald Elmer Miller Jr., Michael Geary, Susan (Tony) Franceschine, Amy (Brad) Bushong; grandchildren, Rusty Allen Stark, Alexander Williams Miller, Stephanie Sue Nichole Miller, Dakota Franceschine, Caitlin Franceschine, Emily Louise Geary, Michael Robert Geary Jr., Mackenzie Kirkpatrick, Delanie Bushong, Cadence Bushong; great-grandchildren, Austin Risdal, Bella Stark, Penelope Stark, Victoria Miller.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandsons, Justin Michael Miller and Donald Elmer Miller III; and sister, Judith Miller.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 9, 2014, at Hamilton’s Mitchellville Funeral Home, 303 Center Ave S., Mitchellville.
