Elaine Pinegar

Elaine Pinegar, 69, passed away peacefully Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Kavanagh on 56th. She joins her husband, Dennis, who died November 25, 2014.

Elaine was born July 25, 1945 in Fenton, Iowa to William and Clara (Mienke) Haase. She is survived by her sons, Brian (Jennifer) Young and Kenneth (Cindy) Young; step-son, Matt (Janice) Pinegar; grandchildren, Carlisa, Jordan, Brian Tyler, Memphis, Paige and Kamryn; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Javen and Maverick; and step-sisters, Diana and Donna.

In addition to her husband, Dennis preceding her in death are her son, Larry David; brothers, Gary and Bernard; parents, William and Clara Haase; and step-father, Bud Norland.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 8, 2014 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 9, also at Hamilton’s. Elaine will be laid to rest beside Dennis at Iowa Veterans Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, following the funeral.
