Beverly Jean Gale

Beverly Jean Gale, 74, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 21 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 am Monday at Southtown Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6pm to 8pm Sunday at the funeral home.
Beverly was born March 13, 1932 in Valley Junction to Ida and William Oliver. She taught piano lessons in her home for 38 years. Beverly belonged to Indianola Heights Christian Church. One of her greatest joys was creating memories with all of her family. Her greatest passion in life was her love for music, cooking and crafts.
Beverly is survived by her son, Michael Gale (Cindy) of Clermont, FL., her daughter, Jana Hunt (Ed) of Norwalk, her eight grandchildren, Melissa, Bethany, Bryce, Brittany, Brandon, Martin, Josh and Samantha and her great grandson, Colin. Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Walter “Jim” Gale and her Aunt Isabelle Cairns.
Memorial contributions are suggested to either Hospice of Central Iowa or to the American Cancer Society.
