Douglas Roush

Douglas Alan Roush, 61, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, November 29, 2014.

Douglas was born July 8, 1953 in Des Moines, Iowa to Kenneth C. and Mildred Belle Roush. He was a member of the Elks Club in Pleasant Hill. He enjoyed the outdoors and spent time fishing, camping, bike riding and gardening. Douglas was a devoted husband and father. He loved spending time with his family and was a great provider.

Douglas is survived by his wife, Anna Mae Roush; children, David (Karel) Roush, Stephanie Roush, and Melinda Roush-Tilton; grandchildren, Amanda, Alyssa, Kaylee, Thomas, Audrey, and Addison; and sister, Gloria Ann Lawrence.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Kenneth D. Roush.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, December 5, also at the funeral home, with burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
