Adele Shilling

Adele Zuba Shilling, 96, died September 13, 2007 in Denver, Colorado. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
Adele lived in Racine, WI most of her life enjoying their home on the lake and then the next 40 years in their home in Des Moines. Both homes were built by her husband, Walter. She lived the last two years in Denver, CO with her son. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and she loved to dance.
Adele is survived by her son, Tom (Julie) Shilling of Denver, CO; grandchildren, Matthew Shilling, David (Brandi) Shilling and Rene (Paul) Dugdale, all of the Denver, CO area; nieces, Myrna (John) Brown of Des Moines and Elaine (Don) Bowman of Boardman, OH; and other close relatives, Franz and Linda Spad, Sieg and Karla Spad, Rosemary and Richard Vance, Monica and Todd Coleman and Ingrid Heaberlin, all of the Des Moines area. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; two infant sons, David and Amazon; and three brothers, Frank, Stanley and Steven Zuba.
