Ermal Betts

Ermal Betts, 89, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2007, at Sunny View Care Center in Ankeny. Ermal was born November 12, 1917 in Coon Rapids, Iowa. She worked in housekeeping at Younkers where she retired in 1984.
She is survived by her daughter, Marcia (Stephen) Klinkefus of Des Moines; son, Roger (Shirley) Betts of Bella Vista, Arkansas; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Ermal was preceded in death by her husband, Dale A. Betts.
Memorial contributions may be made to Highland Park Christian Church, 4260 NW 6th Dr., Des Moines, Iowa 50313.
Funeral services will be 11a.m. Tuesday, September 18, 2007 at Highland Park Christian Church in Des Moines. Visitation will be 5 – 7 p.m., Monday at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave in Des Moines. Burial will follow services at 3 p.m. at the Orange Township Cemetery in Coon Rapids, Iowa.
