Margaret Louberto, 97 was born August 21, 1916, in Pine City, Minnesota. She passed away at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines on November 8, 2014.
Pinky graduated from Eagle Grove High School in Eagle Grove, Iowa. She spent the last years at Valley View Village, enjoying every bit of it, creating new friendships with other residents and staff. She loved hearing and telling jokes, bowling, and accessorizing with hats. Pinky enjoyed the company of others and surrounding herself with the ones she loved.
Pinky is survived by her sister, Vista Mae, and niece, Barbara Carter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Louberto as well as many brothers and sisters.
Graveside services will be held at a later date at Glendale Cemetery.

Aunt Margaret, you made it to your 98th birthday and beyond! Whenever asked how old you were, you always replied,"I'm going to be ...". You always looked to the future. Vesta is the last of your siblings and she is doing well and misses you, like we all do. My Mom, Mary Lea Schaeffer, was especially close to you and I always felt there was a secret reason for this, beyond you being sisters. It wasn't until after my mother's death when I found out that you saved her life when no one else would. You never thought twice about helping those in need. You were an angel on earth. I'm sure you will keep all of heaven in laughter and love with your wit, twinkle in your eye, love for everyone, and you are the best dressed angel there (the only one wearing a beautiful matching hat!!.
